Aviation non-owner insurance is mandatory for all students and renters before flying solo or renting with American Aviation. You must ensure your coverage meets or exceeds the minimum requirements, which include bodily injury and property damage liability. Hull coverage will vary by aircraft rented. If pilot error or negligence causes an incident, you are responsible for the first $30,000 of hull damage.
